How did you enjoy the weekend's golf?
Some truly special stuff was played on both sides of the pond over the weekend. Graeme Storm's remarkable story continued on the European Tour. The Englishman kept his Tour card for this year by the skin of his teeth, only to go and defeat Rory McIlroy after a three-hole playoff in his first event of 2017. Over in Hawaii, Justin Thomas followed up last week's triumph by carding an opening round 59 en route to a second successive victory, smashing various records in the process.
Back in the UK we're not quite enjoying the kind of weather the pros are but if their sensational golf has got your golfing juices flowing again, then make sure you come and see us this week. There's lots happening in the pro shop at this time of year as we prepare for new arrivals from our major suppliers, so pop your head in and take a look around.

Sunday morning wasn't the most beautiful golfing morning but in the spirit of the Good Companions golfers turned up braced for anything mother nature could throw at them and took to the course in this popular Greensome event.
Scoring was difficult the weather and 18 temp greens saw only 5 teams break the 67 mark. The winners on the day were John Richards and Paul Whitaker with a fantastic 62.5 closely followed by Gordon Jowitt and Mark Gregory with 63.5. other notable scores came from Martin Scothern and James Hoyland (64) Andrew Collings and Mick Gosney (65.5) and Marc Whittles and John Dalton (66).
