Wortley Golf Club hosts the John Joll Open Trophy & AMAM

Wortley Golf Club is delighted to announce the John Joll Open Trophy & AMAM, taking place on Monday 15 September 2025. The event promises a fantastic day of golf, food, and friendly competition, all in support of course improvements and the Alzheimer’s Society.

Competition Format:

• John Joll Trophy: Best individual Stableford score

• Team Trophy: Best team score, with two scores to count on each hole

Food & Refreshments:
Participants will be welcomed with a bacon roll and coffee on arrival, followed by a post-golf meal of roast turkey or pork sandwich with stuffing and roast potatoes.

Event Details:

• Tee times begin at 11:30 am

• Maximum handicap: 24, with no CDH number required

• Players are kindly asked to bring a bottle or prize for the raffle

Entry Fees:

• Members: £25 per person

• Visitors: £45 per person

Sponsorship Opportunities:
Tee sponsorship is available for £100. Those interested can contact Lee Broad or John Round for further details.
